Whilst out in the field Jameel Abdo, our Sales Representative for the Midlands, was having an educational discussion about radiation protection when trialling RADPAD in an Interventional Radiology Lab. During the conversation, they identified a 7cm gap between the table and mobile table skirts (usually covered with drapes), increasing the levels of scatter radiation within the lab that would reach the operator’s head and face.
